Privacy policy

Pogh is a free personal finance service. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it.
What we store
Your name, email address, a securely hashed password, your language preference, and the finance data, subscriptions and documents you add. We also keep technical session data (such as IP address and browser) to keep your account secure. If you log in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and an account ID from them, nothing else; we never post or act on that account.
How documents are processed
Receipts, invoices and screenshots you upload are processed locally on our own hardware and never sent to third-party AI services. The files are stored encrypted and are deleted when you delete the document or your account. If you ask for a monthly summary, only totals (income, spending per category, budgets and subscription costs) go to that same local model — never payees, notes or documents. We do not use your data to train AI models, and administrators can’t see your documents or summaries.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. Administrators can manage accounts but do not browse your financial data.
Bank sync
If you connect a bank, Enable Banking Oy (Finland), a licensed account information service, reads the accounts you chose on your request, at most four times a day, until your consent ends or you disconnect. Pogh stores only the booked lines and balances, as with a file you upload; it never sees your bank login and can’t move money.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can change your details and delete your account at any time from your settings. Deleting your account removes your data. For other requests, such as access or correction, contact us.
